Beehive Hairdressing
After gaining my degree in Fashion in 2004, I worked for various high-end costume jewellery designers and started my own range, Hannah-Collins. During this time I became particularly interested in creating bespoke headpieces and, by extension, exploring complementary hairstyles to suit the designs. What better way to express and hone my craft than through being able to design and create both?
Following that vision, I trained and qualified at the TONI&GUY London Academy in 2008, specialising in cutting and styling and received a Colour Expert certification from Goldwell in 2010. In 2013, I trained with The Vintage Hair Lounge to develop my styling and hair-up skills further, which culminated in working in their salon at the Goodwood Revival festival. I love how vintage techniques offer such a fantastic foundation to create the most beautiful, long lasting shapes.
My portfolio now covers creating hair at London Fashion Week, Cambridge University Balls, weddings, hen and pamper parties and other special occasions, to name a few. I have also worked in both small independent and large corporate salons over the years.
I am delighted to say that I now have my very own salon called Beehive Hairdressing, where I offer a completely tailored-to-you service. I call myself ‘The Listening Hairdresser’ as I truly believe that a great hairdressing experience comes from working together with you to create your own bespoke look. Clients having their hair styled may wish to explore the addition of complementary accessories and headpieces. Check out my jewellery and accessories collection Hannah-Collins.
I pride myself in offering a bespoke service to suit all of your hair and accessory needs and I am looking forward to meeting you soon.
